ActiveMath is an innovative, adaptive web-based environment for learning mathematics. The system guides the student in self-regulated learning, can adapt to individual knowledge state and personal interests and learning goals, and allows the learner to realize their learning potential. ActiveMath integrates several functions and tools: computer algebra systems, function plotter, concept map tool, semantic search, notes function and more.
ActiveMath has been developed under the guidance of Dr. Erica Melis starting 1999, and served as the basis for the learning environments LeActiveMath, Mathe-Brücke, Math-Bridge, and many more.
