Augmented visual intelligence and Targeted online research (AviaTor) Phase 2 builds upon the first AviaTor project. AviaTor provides law enforcement with a tool for faster prioritization of the most urgent cases of reported online child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The scale of child abuse is global and gigantic and has a permanent devastating impact on victims. In the USA, providers have the legal duty to report to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) if they become aware of child sexual abuse images, videos, or text present on their platforms. AviaTor Phase 2 expands the basic functionalities by
- use of advanced AI methods to process, analyze, and prioritize photo, video, and text content
- integration of advanced OSINT technology
- identifying legislative gaps
Close collaboration with Law Enforcement Agencies ensures that AviaTor is functionally complete and guarantees sustainability.
