The main goal of the IoTAssist project is to develop a platform that enables interoperability between devices and services in the IoT and wearable area. This platform offers the possibility to implement intelligent assistance systems easily and intuitively. Here, we focus on the integration of existing device ecosystems in everyday and home environments to address the growing problem of isolated solutions. In order to easily integrate the different technologies, we provide a technology-neutral interface and various artificial intelligence modules. In user-centered workshops, individual assistance systems tailored to the user are set up and tested in everyday life situations.
Health is a highly relevant topic in western societies. Corporate health management (Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement - BGM) is an important instrument for companies to improve the health of their employees in the long term. In addition to motivation and productivity, it also aims to promote the general quality of life. However, current BGM approaches largely dispense with digital technologies. The IoTAssist platform allows a novel, holistic and technical approach to solutions that enables users to implement individual assistance systems that provide support in achieving personal health goals in everyday business and home life.
