The Design Research eXplorations (DRX) team at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) GmbH and SAP are investigating how a human centric methodology can influence the design of AI driven products revolving around Large Language Models (LLMs). The project, called LaLaMo, aims to explore if LLM capabilities built with humans-in-the-loop perform better than those without.
Design is critical when developing human-centered products to fit expectations, be educational, and provide inclusive, unique, and enjoyable user-experiences (UX). The overall goal of this project is to identify where LLMs and user interfaces can be improved through a human-centric feedback approach. This strategy will ultimately lead to a more personalized and meaningful UX.
