The objective of the project P2E2 - Peer-to-Peer Enterprise Environment is the creation of an integrated framework and the development of a softwsare environment for the systematic design, management and IT-realization of collaborative business processes using peer-to-peer-technology-based integration of enterprise applications. The project adresses on the one hand the technological integration challenge, but also the IT-supported, distributed management of business processes as well as interorganizational controlling mechanisms.
