The concept of the administration shell (AAS) and the reference implementation created in BaSys 4.0 provide uniform access to different information on production-relevant assets stored in partial models. Conceptually, this includes information from the (continuous) engineering phase as well as operating data generated during production. Operating data can be divided into organizational (e.g. order data or personnel data) and technical operating data. Technical operating data includes machine and process data and is the focus of this project. In addition, all organizational operating data necessary for the understanding and analysis of the technical operating data (e.g. product and batch numbers, recipe numbers, target values and tolerances) are taken into account. Based on the reference implementation provided by BaSys 4.0, a holistic approach for the collection of (technical) operating data as well as for the subsequent provision and use of this data via administration trays is to be implemented in this project. This approach should be characterized by an outstanding operational suitability in particular for SMEs.
