Project | XCOM

Duration:

Innovationslabor für Kommunikationskonzepte der nächsten Generation

The XCOM project is a complementary extension of Open6GHub+. On the one hand, it pursues the further development of the concepts and labs established in the research hub and transfer hub, while on the other hand, it also focuses specifically on disruptive approaches beyond the traditional 6G scope. As an innovation lab, three innovation directions are central. These include the development and testing of a unified AI-based multi-agent architecture for network management and cyber-physical twins, the synergy of 3GPP and non-3GPP technologies (utilizing 6G concepts), and, in particular, the integration of non-terrestrial networks (NTNs). XCOM is developing a central element for managing and orchestrating AI agents and various communication systems.
