This year's Foreign Trade Days took place under the motto "Germany Works - act globally, think ahead" from 19 to 23 April. The event was supported, among others, by the federal company Germany Trade & Invest and with great commitment from associations, institutions and experts. During the entire week, more than 70 expert forums with around 6000 participants took place and worked out new perspectives for German foreign trade in dialogue with politics and business.
In close cooperation with the BMWi and the DLR Project Management Agency (DLR-PT), the FDT organised the expert forum "Digital technology innovations - internationally networked". Within this framework, the current BMWi technology programmes from the funding area "Development of Digital Technologies" were presented. Three funded projects - the AIRPoRT project led by DFKI, ACM - Adaptive City Mobility and Telemed5000 - presented their results and experiences in cooperation with foreign partners to the audience. The expert forum concluded with a presentation on the FDT's national and international networking activities, as well as a virtual tour of the showroom and subsequent networking on the FDT's virtual platform.
