ASTRALIS is developing the next generation of European in-orbit logistics. The project's goal is to develop and demonstrate a reusable, modular, and autonomous logistics system for use in orbit as a central component of the ISOS4I pilot mission. To this end, key technologies for autonomous docking, refueling, and robotics are being advanced to operational readiness (TRL 6) and made interoperable through standardized interfaces. At the same time, ASTRALIS contributes to the sustainable development of spaceflight by supporting concepts to reduce space debris and extend satellite lifetimes. With a consortium of 15 leading European partners, ASTRALIS strengthens Europe's technological sovereignty, reduces dependence on non-European solutions, and lays the foundation for new commercial and institutional services in the field of in-orbit maintenance and logistics.
