Zusammenfassung

In this demo we aim to demonstrate final design and hard- ware implementation of our large and fully flexible electroluminescent based 48 × 48 pixel display (ELD) panel. Each panel is 45 × 45 cm and they can be connected horizontally to increase overall area. EL is an enabling technology for highly flexible, robust and large-scale displays production. The display has a very simple layer structure and it can be printed manually without need for a specialized manufacturing facility. Due to the high voltage alternating field nature of an EL main complexity comes down to the driving circuitry. We also implemented a stackable, high voltage display driver circuit architecture to further ease the control and expansion of our display.
