Interactive Dynamic Information Extraction
This project performs basic research in information extraction (IE), a highly innovative sub-field of AI. In particular, novel technologies will be explored that support an interactive dynamic extraction of relevant information, i.e., software components that completely automatically extract the most salient information from unstructured and structured web documents for a given user request. Interactive dynamic IE systems do have a very high innovation impact for those kind of applications, for which a timely and user-adaptive information search imply high costs, e.g., early recognition of financial risks or product-specific markets.
