Zusammenfassung

The utilization of nanosensors and actuators as a subset of innovative and molecular technology is offering a multitude of opportunities and benefits for future health applications. However, a major challenge remains: effective communication between these devices. As the theoretical foundations of molecular and Radio-Frequency communication are currently laid in academia, this work proposes communication by means of microbubbles -- a contrast agent for ultrasound diagnostics established in medicine. However, due to the highly branched nature of the blood vessels, complex interferences can occur at the receiver side of the microbubble communication. Moreover, given that the medium self-degrades inside the human body, a prediction of the received signal strength is highly complex. Therefore, this work proposes a graph-based simulation framework considering these relevant factors. Although it is not meant to fully optimize all realistic parameters, it provides a foundation for further research and serves the scientific community as a starting point for further development.
